General Management Intern - The Greatest Showman

Disney is seeking a General Management Intern for the upcoming Bristol production of Disney’s The Greatest Showman. This internship is an exciting opportunity for Bristol-based individuals to gain hands-on experience in general management and creative production on a large-scale musical.

As a General Management Intern, you’ll work closely with the General Management office, providing essential administrative and production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and production support to the General Management office.
  • Book travel and accommodation for company members.
  • Set up rehearsal spaces and assist with logistics.
  • Make purchases for stage management and technical departments.
  • Print scripts and other production materials.
  • Attend Meet and Greets and rehearsals.
  • Run ad hoc errands and provide refreshments for creative and technical teams.
  • Contribute to opening night preparations.
  • No prior theatre experience required - just a genuine enthusiasm for theatre!

Role Specification

  • Enthusiasm to Learn: Eager to develop new skills and take on challenges.
  • Deadline-Oriented: Ability to work to deadlines and effectively under pressure.
  • Team Player: Works well both independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexible Availability: Willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Theatre Skills (Desirable): Interest in theatre production or the creative process - experience helpful but not essential.
